2025 MID-ATLANTIC WINEMAKER CHALLENGE RESULTS ANNOUNCED
May 13, 2025 — Winners have been announced in the 2024 Mid-Atlantic Winemaker Challenge. After several days of spirited judging, Casanel Vineyards & Winery of Virginia took the top prize as the 2025 Mid-Atlantic Winery of the Year.
“Casanel Vineyards and Winery is a small boutique winery located in the Catoctin Mountain range of Loudoun County, VA. We are honored to be recognized for this award as a small producer. Our goal is craft excellent, estate wines that are terroir driven to showcase what Virginia wine can we do in with our climate and soil."
With dozens of wineries entering hundreds of wines, this year’s competition was truly a showcase of the Mid-Atlantic’s best.
